Diza Hope is a Northern California artist, she studied painting and drawing at California College of the Arts where she obtained her BFA in 2003. Her mother, who is also a painter, provided many insights, skills and lessons on art in her early life. Diza works in oil, pencil, acrylic and encaustic. Her subject matter mostly consists of birds, botany, landscapes and other natural objects she finds interesting.
Lately, a more macro view of botany has provided interesting and fulfilling pictorial challenges.
